Open Question: python application development?

i plan to develop an application(a game) for android, linux, mac, windows and ipod/iphone. Could i do this using blender, pygame and python, inkscape and gimp? would i need a games engine? or will just pygame suffice? i know blender has a games engine, does it work with python?
